| Notes |
There is no clear evidence to suggest that this late MS was written in Brittany; it is more likely that its four Old Breton glosses (and one Old English gloss) on Orosius's Historiae were copied from a (much older?) Breton exemplar, probably close to Rome (Città del Vaticano), BAV, Reg.lat.296, and Leiden, Bibliotheek der Rijksuniversiteit, MS Voss. Lat. F 13 (cf. Lambert 1988: 216–17, who points out that some of these glosses 'indiquent au moins un contact avec les Bretons insulaires'). |
