Notes

In 2020 this Gospel-book was listed on the on-line catalogue of the Swiss antiquarian dealer 'Dr. Jörn Günther Rare Books', and it was then sold to the Museum of the Bible in Washington, DC. The available catalogue information specifies that this MS is of Breton origin, and both the script and the decoration make this attribution highly plausible. The description of the contents offered here is based on ILLB In29b, as well as on the few folios accessible on the website of the Museum of the Bible.
