Bischoff (Kat. §6773) described the script of this folio as 'Insulesk' and seemed to consider it of ninth-century date. In fact, this fragment was originally the last folio of the tenth-century MS Angers, BM, 476. This folio proves that the whole MS must have reached the abbey of Saint-Aubin of Angers by the end of the eleventh century, when an important series of Breton, Norman and Northern French genealogies were added on the verso.
