Notes |
Deuffic's inclusion of this MS in his PMSB (299, §29) depends on an unpublished list prepared by Léon Fleuriot (cf. PMSB 290). As far as I can see, the only potential connection with Brittany is the occurrence of the name Winnocus in a note at fol. 2r: Reliquie sancti Petri apostoli, unus dens. He reliquie fuerunt archiepiscopi Alnoldi, et ipse unciam auri Rome emit. Ego vero Winnocus, servus servorum Xpisti, post obitum eiusdem episcopi Godrico de tiam cleroque [?] ipsius cenobii manu mea inde precium dedi, scilicet medietatem uncie auri; habet vero simul de sepulcro Xpisti (cited from Guéry 1917: 355). |
