| Notes |
These folios were used as flyleaves of a twelfth-century homiliary. Apart from containing 'Breton' neumes, this MS does not seem to present any further signs of a Breton origin, which therefore remains unconfirmed (indeed, Bischoff only indicated 'Frankreich' in Kat. §5166). While a tenth-century date is sometimes assigned to these folios (cf. e.g. Huglo 1963: 67; ILLB In3), I have adopted Bischoff's ninth-century dating (Kat. §5166). |
