Connection with Brittany
Notes

Some of the pieces added at the end of this MS, at fols 89v-91r, carry Breton neumes, similar to the ones found in Chartres, BM, MS 47. While the bulk of this MS was probably written at Rheims, the prayers occurring at fols 89v-96v (and their musical notation) may have been added elsewhere (cf. Kat. 3939; Rankin 2018: 99), perhaps somewhere in Western Francia, but not necessarily in Brittany (pace Huglo 1963: 66).
