This MS contains a copy of the Vita prima of Saint Paul Aurelian, probably deriving, directly or indirectly, from a Breton exemplar/archetype. In this respect, it is worth citing Poulin's words at length: 'Ce témoin possède un ancêtre commun avec le ms. d'Orléans [= Orléans, Médiathèque, MS 261 {A} and MS 261 {B}]; c’est de là que leur viennent une même numérotation des chapitres et leurs gloses latines et bretonnes communes [...]. En position interlinéaire, ces gloses sont introduites par la lettre "i" accolée de points (= id est [the abbreviation in question is .i.]), ce qui a été reconnu depuis longtemps comme une abréviation typique non seulement de l’usage insulaire, mais également breton. Cet ancêtre commun doit se rapprocher sensiblement de l’autographe de Gurmonoc' (Poulin 2009: 272).
